Chardonnay Pays d'Oc IGP, Le Pic

Domaine Girard has been a family-run winery and farm since 1928 with founder Jean Girard, who pushed the winery to a new level every year from his native town of Alaigne with only 7 hectares under vine. In the 1940s, the new generation took over with an installation of a bigger winery made from the stone found in the terroir and an additional 10 hectares were now planted. In 2000, Philippe Girard, now the third generation, created the first vintages of Domaine Girard. The "3 peaks" is a reference to the nearby hilltops of the winery. The founding members used to walk this and meet in the center peak.
