Viña Undurraga is present in the main wine valleys of the country, such as Valle del Maipo, Leyda, Colchagua, Cachapoal, and Maule. The Agricultural Manager, Francisco Valdivieso’s objective is to create crops of the highest quality, trying to intervene minimally in the Terroir. For this, the agricultural team of Viña Undurraga works through the following stages: Trying to generate wines with the least possible chemical and artificial intervention. For this, we use products with low chemical impact in each task that modify the result. We carry out serious studies on the different types of soils, climates, and the physiological behavior of the varieties. Our team is always in search of terroirs in specific regions, in order to obtain the best results in terms of yield and quality and, on the other hand, to enrich the experience of our consumers. Drip irrigation system: All our fields have applied this irrigation system, given the good results in terms of fruit and care with this vital element. Regularly, our oenological and agricultural staff are trained in matters specific to the area as well as in other influential ones.
